Michael A. Ludwig M.D.
A physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, Dr. Ludwig specializes in the non-surgical management of general musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. After receiving his undergraduate degree at John Carroll University, Dr. Ludwig attended The Ohio State University for his medical degree. Following his completion of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Washington, Dr. Ludwig completed a one-year fellowship at the University of Utah in sport medicine and interventional spinal procedures. Specializing in body mechanics and exercise, Dr. Ludwig attempts to address underlying biomechanical causes of back pain and facilitate recovery using a non-surgical approach when possible. Dr. Ludwig is fellowship trained in epidural steroid injections, joint injections, and electromyography. As part of the Coeur d’Alene Spine team, Dr. Ludwig is committed to seeing his patients achieve their physical potential.
