Orthopedic Surgeon Fellowship Trained Foot/Ankle/Lower Extremity Specialist

Dr. Arena is an orthopedic surgeon fellowship trained as a foot and ankle and lower extremity specialist. He completed his undergraduate education at Penn State University majoring in Bio-Engineering. He then completed his four-year Medical School training at West Virginia University where he earned a Doctorate of Medicine degree (M.D.). Dr. Arena returned to Penn State University where went on to complete a 5-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency/Chief Residency. Following the completion of his residency training, Dr. Arena also completed an Orthopedic Surgery Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.

Dr. Arena has a passion for Orthopedics and enjoys working alongside other like-minded surgeons on the OSI team who are committed to furthering the field of Orthopedics with research and development. Dr. Arena’s background in mechanical engineering gives him a unique perspective when it comes to approaching patient care and determining treatment options. This fresh perspective helps to get patients treated properly and back to doing the activities they love. To Dr. Arena patient care is a privilege and helping those to improve their quality of life is the reason he became an orthopedic surgeon.
